One Marina Gardens is a new mixed development in District 1, Core Central Region of Singapore, located on Marina Gardens Lane. It is near Marina Boulevard and Marina Gardens Drive, opposite Gardens By the Bay. Recent launches in the area include One Bernam, Marina One Residences, and Wallich Residence. The site, introduced in June 2022 as part of the Government Land Sales Programme, is 1.23 hectares with a gross plot ratio of 5.6 and 750 square meters of commercial space.

Marina South, a 45-hectare precinct, adjoins Gardens By the Bay and overlooks the Straits of Singapore and Marina Reservoir. It is planned for residential, hotel, office, and retail spaces, potentially yielding over 10,000 apartments. The Urban Redevelopment Authority's Draft Masterplan since 2013 envisions a car-lite, sustainable neighborhood with pedestrian-friendly streets, cycling networks, and two MRT stations. High sustainability buildings with Green Mark certification are planned.


Marina South aims to be self-sufficient with amenities like childcare centers, F&B, recreation, and parks. One Marina Gardens will lead the area's transformation. Its strategic location offers easy access to Singapore’s Financial District, appealing to homebuyers and investors. Despite limited educational facilities, the area offers ample dining and retail options, reducing travel time and enhancing enjoyment.


The area benefits from an enhanced transportation network, providing smooth commuting via main roads and MRT services. One Marina Gardens offers vibrant city living with proximity to job opportunities in the Central Business District. The Greater Southern Waterfront plan, stretching 30 km along Singapore's southern coast, includes housing, offices, and new attractions. The first phase includes Mount Faber, Keppel Club, and Pasir Panjang, with completion projected in the next decade.

Plans include a waterfront promenade and a new cable railway at Mount Faber. The area hosts MNCs like Unilever and Google, offering job opportunities and reducing travel time for residents. Public transportation will expand with the MRT Thomson East Coast Line and additional Circle Line stations. Pulau Brani will be redeveloped into a mini Sentosa with parks and trails. The Greater Southern Waterfront offers potential for property buyers, tourists, and residents, though development will take time.
